Identity & visual direction
Logo explorations, colour, typography and a visual language for your brand.
Working together / Inès Richardson
I connect visual direction, design and front-end development. We start with your business and your audience, agree on what the project needs, then move through focused reviews towards a result you can use.

Content structure, UI/UX, responsive layouts and front-end development in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Motion and 3D are considered where they support the experience.
Packaging concepts, labels and layouts that carry your identity into physical formats.
The scope and checkpoints depend on your project. We agree on them before the design work begins.
We start with a discovery conversation: your audience, the action you want people to take and the practical constraints. I review your existing identity, website or materials and ask focused questions before proposing a scope.
We clarify: a shared brief, priorities, available content, decision-makers, budget and timing.
Before production, we agree on the deliverables, fee, review rounds and schedule. I then develop visual references, moodboards or initial sketches. For a website, we also map the key pages and visitor journey. We choose a direction before developing the detail.
We agree on: a defined scope and a creative direction to develop.
I develop the identity in context, or translate the website design into responsive HTML, CSS and JavaScript. You review meaningful examples: a page you can navigate, a brand application or a packaging mockup. Visual studies and working functionality are clearly distinguished.
You review: a developed proposal, with the thinking behind the main decisions.
We review the work against the brief and gather feedback into one consolidated round at each agreed checkpoint. For websites, the review covers mobile and desktop layouts, navigation, links, forms and motion. Changes beyond the agreed scope are discussed before work continues.
We confirm: the final design within the agreed scope. Additional requests are discussed before they are added.
After approval, I organise the agreed files and explain their use. Website handover can include the source files and publishing instructions; identity handover can include vector logos, colour references and agreed applications. Hosting, launch support and future updates are defined in the scope.
You receive: the agreed deliverables and guidance for their next use.

We define the deliverables, schedule, fee and feedback rounds before starting. Gathering feedback in one place helps us make clear decisions. If priorities change, we review the impact on the scope and timing together.
I’m based in Abu Dhabi and work in English and French. We can use written briefs, visual presentations and scheduled reviews to keep decisions clear, including when we’re in different time zones.
We discuss who will manage the site and how often it needs to change before choosing the approach. A coded website is updated through its files; an editing interface is a separate requirement to plan for. Hosting, domains, ongoing maintenance and content updates are agreed separately.
